It began with our families
Our story didn't start with a chance meeting. It started with the people who love us most, when our families introduced us to each other.
Across time zones
Anish was living in the United States and Shiwani was living in Australia. One of us was saying good morning while the other was saying good night, and still the conversations never ran out.
Finally, in person
Those long calls slowly became something meaningful. Then Anish boarded a flight to Australia so that we could finally meet face to face.
A promise
During that visit, Anish gave Shiwani a promise ring. It was a small ring holding a very big promise.

With the love and blessings of both our families, we decided to begin our new journey together.
